BIOGRAPHY
Ning Jianan was born in 1987 in Nanjing, China. He currently lives and works in Hamburg and China.

Jianan studied Painting at Renmin University of China (Beijing) and graduated with his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 2012, in 2015 he received his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the same university. Since 2016, Jianan has worked as a lecturer at the Communication University of China, Nanjing. After three years, he emigrated to Germany and has been continuing his artistic career at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (HFBK) to study until now.
